How do The Sunday Times decide who are Britain’s Best Companies to Work For?
That’s easy: they ask the staff what they think. In fact, they measure, in precise detail, how employees are feeling and identify the areas where an organisation, whatever its size, is doing a great job at creating an exceptional workplace — or not.
This annual survey, designed and carried out by workplace engagement specialists Best Companies Ltd, is driven by the responses to questionnaires filled in by staff. These generate data that, when measured and analysed, provides an up-to-date profile of what it’s like to work in a business.
Hundreds of firms apply every year for a place on one of the four lists and the right to call themselves a Sunday Times Best Company To Work For.
Congratulations to all those listed and particularly to C2S Members:
- Mears PLC – 25 Best Big Companies to Work For
- Creed Foodservice & drpg – 100 Best Companies to Work For
- Excalibur – 100 Best Small Companies to Work For
The workplace engagement specialists Best Companies assess participating companies on factors such as job security, faith in team leadership and belief that the business provides a great service to clients.
The results were announced at a gala dinner and ceremony and this year hosted by BBC TV presenter Dan Walker and was held at Battersea Evolution and attended by 1400 guests.
