Founders and Directors Colin Beard and Josh Isaac shared with us why they won the Culture & Diversity award at this year’s C2S Business Awards, what they do differently, their growth and ambitions for the future.

3 years ago, during the pandemic, Colin Beard and Josh Issacs had a dream to set up a company that genuinely cared, for the wellbeing of people with disabilities. Fast forward and Prosperity Care and Wellbeing have a team of holistic therapists, they run events that are attend by up to 200 people and deliver around 4000 hours per week of direct care and support to people in Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.

They constantly buck the trend on being short staffed because of their many initiatives to support their people; and a commitment to encouraging people to bring their whole self to work.  They are a beacon of best practice and enlightenment,  many congratulations to the team at Prosperity Care.

Founders Colin Beard and Josh Isaacs talked about their 8 principals of wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion, and the benefits this brings to employees in the workplace, strategies for promoting EDI, workplace wellbeing, change and growth.

They have created a very successful business in such a short time, in a stressed and understaffed sector by looking after their people, helping their people to be their authentic, best selves at work and developing a strong, positive culture of openness and honesty.
