 
Solicitor Simon Hawkins has joined the expanding Family Law Department at WSP Solicitors. Simon studied Law and completed his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of the West of England. He has a wealth of experience in the Legal profession and will be joining the firm after 9 years at Co-op Legal Services in Bristol. The first six years at his previous firm were spent in the Personal Injury Law department. Simon then moved into Family Law in 2017. Having qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive, he re-qualified as a Solicitor in 2019. Simon is also a ‘Resolution Accredited Specialist’, a scheme which recognises lawyers who demonstrate excellence in the practice of family law and in their specific areas of expertise. Simon specialises in dealing with divorce and matrimonial matters including matters relating to finances and children. He will be based in WSP Solicitors’ Gloucester Office. Although it is an abnormal time to be starting a new role at a new firm Simon is “really looking forward to joining WSP Solicitors” and “excited to be able to work much closer with my local community than ever before”.
