The Big Sleep Out is CCP’s fundraising event to raise vital funds to help prevent homelessness. It’s happening on 25 January 2023 and there’s still time for you and your team, colleagues, families, and friends to join in and make the dream work for those who are facing eviction.
What better way to build trust and bring everyone together to meet a common goal?
The Big Sleep Out has been designed to support the CSR of local businesses, and there’s plenty of opportunity to benefit from taking part. As well as networking opportunities with fellow champions, you’ll be supported with social media graphics and the opportunity to take photos, as well as tours to see how the funds are used.
The details:
- Outline: Kicking off the evening with a simple hot meal and chance to network, the event brings people together to reflect on the realities of homelessness. We’ll supply a safe space to sleep at Brickhampton Golf Course Driving Range along with cardboard to bed down on for the night.
- Target: we’ve set ourselves an ambitious target of £100,000 and fundraisers can contribute towards this. Please register your interest to take part.
The money raised will go towards homelessness prevention services, including emergency financial and food aid, as well as family support and debt advice for those on the brink of homelessness. We’ll also use it to fund essential housing services for 16-25 years olds who are already homeless, and to support those who are street homeless in Gloucestershire.
