We are pleased to announce Spirax Sarco as official event sponsors for our Women in Business event at Cheltenham Ladies College on the 8th March 2022.

Join us and meet some inspirational, motivating people in business who care about diversity, inclusion and equality

We are delighted to be able to celebrate International Women’s Day in person this year with our ‘Inspiring Women in Business’ event at Cheltenham Ladies College, sponsored by Spirax Sarco celebrating excellence in business and best practice. This event is open to both male and female businesspeople as we believe life and the workplace should be a balanced environment with diversity and inclusion.

International Womens Day

Eve Jardine-Young – Principal, Cheltenham Ladies College

Eve Jardine-Young has been Principal of Cheltenham Ladies’ College since 2011, having worked in the independent sector for over 25 years. Eve also is involved with the Barnwood Trust, whose work supports marginalised and vulnerable adults in leading more independent lives.

Janis Sinton – Managing Director, TasteTech

Janis took over the reins as managing director and set herself and the TasteTech team a challenging goal: to double the size, turnover, and profitability of the company within five years, which they not only reached but exceeded it. Janis was awarded The NatWest Everywoman Hera Award for the most inspirational woman running a business that has been trading for 12 years or more. Today, Janis continues to lead the growth of this outstanding independent family-owned business.

Nicola Whiting – Best-selling author; engaging public speaker and award-winning mentor

Nicola Whiting is Co-Owner of Titania Group, Worcestershire’s Commissioner for the UK Cyber Science & Innovation Audit, and an award-winning business mentor. She advocates from experience for diversity in all forms, believing it will lead to broader and ultimately better solutions to our most pressing issues – in cyber security, business, and in life, building inclusive cultures, accelerating business growth and cyber security strategy.

Alice Roizer – Early Career Group Team Lead, L3Harris Technologies

Alice joined L3Harris back in 2016 as part of their Engineering Graduate Scheme and has since risen through the ranks to become the Early Career Group Team Lead for their Intelligence and Cyber International – EMEA business. Based at L3Harris’ Spectra House office in Tewkesbury, Alice works closely with younger generations to help shape their career paths and achieve their personal goals. A large part of this involves championing regular Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) outreach initiatives by visiting, collaborating with, and speaking at schools and colleges within the local community. A passionate advocate for raising awareness of STEM roles and career opportunities, Alice draws upon her own experiences working within defence – a largely male-orientated industry – to inspire young women to challenge the conventions of gender bias and pursue such exciting career paths as engineering and manufacturing.
