New Face at Brewin Dolphin – Zac Purchase-Hill MBE Olympic & Triple World Champion

We are delighted to welcome Zac Purchase-Hill to RBC Brewin Dolphin. He will be working in our Financial Planning team. We asked Zac how he is settling in, what he is looking forward to most, and what his interests are.

How are you finding your first few weeks at RBC Brewin Dolphin?

The first couple of weeks have been very interesting. I have had the opportunity to speak with a large

number of colleagues across different areas of the business, and have also met with a few clients, accountants and solicitors. It has been great to see how integrated the business is between the Financial Planning and

Investment Management functions, but also to learn how strong the channels of communication are between client- facing and administration teams.

Hopefully, that will continue to help make our clients’ lives easier and give better results.

What are you most looking forward to?

The reason I love my job is because I get to meet with so many different

people, with such diverse backgrounds and experiences. There is nothing more rewarding than working with a client to resolve a problem or create a plan, then see it come to fruition with success. Having spent many years in sport, I know the value of a strong team. I therefore wish to meet with as many people as I can within the professional world, as I hope this will help me to create an agile and capable lineup to support my clients. If anyone would like to meet over a tea/coffee/hot chocolate, please get in touch!

Tell us about you and your interests?

Outside of work I spend my time running round after three children and two dogs. I also started keeping bees and I’m enjoying the learning that happens every time I crack open the hive to find 50,000+ buzzing black and yellow insects, and large quantities of honey (50 jars so far this year). I’ve also recently started golf lessons, however with little time to play a full 18 holes, hopefully by next summer I’ll be capable of getting around and not losing too many balls!
