Hartpury is a specialist educational provider located in Gloucestershire with more than 4,000 college and university level students studying PhDs, postgraduate and undergraduate degrees, diplomas in the areas of sport, equine, animal, agriculture and veterinary nursing, and A-levels.

Located close to Gloucester and Cheltenham, Hartpury University and Hartpury College sit alongside one another on the same 360-hectare campus that has benefited from more than £50 million of investment over the past 20 years.

Students at Hartpury University have access to the largest equine educational establishment in the world, cutting-edge sports facilities, an extensive animal collection, an animal therapy centre, science laboratories with industry standard equipment and a fully working farm.

Hartpury University is home to more than 2,000 students completing undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees and PhDs, as well as higher education diplomas and postgraduate research in Sport, Equine, Animal, Agriculture and Veterinary Nursing.

Ninety-six per cent of graduates from Hartpury University are in employment, further study or other purposeful activity (Graduate Outcomes, 2020, based on activities 15 months after graduation).

Hartpury University is ranked in the top 20 in the UK for its undergraduate teaching quality (Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022) and number one in the UK by full-time postgraduate students in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2021.

Hartpury College, which also has more than 2,000 students, was awarded Ofsted Outstanding in all areas in June 2018 and for its residential provision in March 2019.

Offering a range of A-levels and diplomas, it is one of the UK’s leading land-based, sports, equine and animal colleges.  It is the highest achieving land-based college in England (DfE 2018-19)
