Farewell to CEO Martin Hughes

A farewell to our Chief Executive Martin Hughes, on his last day on the 30th November, having been with the charity for 12 years.

Martin commented, “I’ve been with the charity for twelve years and in that time, together as one team, we have become one of the most well-known and well-respected charities in Gloucestershire.”

Martin continued, “I am proud of what we have achieved; we are helping more people than ever who need our wonderful care and despite challenges in the care sector, we have made this charity a very safe and stable place to live and work. None of this is possible by one person, I have been standing on the shoulders of giants, and it is achieved as one organisation with all of you.”

Suzanne, our interim Chief Executive thanked Martin for all he’s done for the charity and that it had been a pleasure working with him in their roles.

Martin finished with, “Thank you for everything, it has been an incredible time for me at Lilian Faithfull Care and I wish you all well for the future.”

Martin – we’ve all enjoyed working with you, you’ll be missed, and good luck in your new venture.

Join us in wishing Martin farewell.
