Encouraging the next generation of Town Planners

We fee very strongly about young people having the best opportunities in life to fulfil their potential, so it was really wonderful to see our graduation planner Braden Stonehouse, not only pass is undergraduate degree with flying colours this week (really pleased for you Braden!), but also commence an apprenticeship at UWE to study to be a Chartered Town Planner and obtain an MSc in Urban Planning.

Town planning is not often promoted as a career choice, we like to try to raise the profile of the profession by attending local careers fairs and speaking to students. Recently, our FD, Jenny McLoughlin spoke to the 93% club in Leeds about how to approach job searches, interviews and imposter syndrome when moving from university life into professional roles.

As the picture shows, Braden going to settle into student life very well and we look forward to being part of his career progression.
