Cheltenham-Based Architect Announce New Director Appointment

Cotswolds-based and UK-wide architectural practice, coombes:everitt architects, has announced a new senior role within their established practice, joining founders and practice directors, Toby Coombes and John Everitt and their team of architects and technicians. The appointment to the role has been announced as Mike Court, a RIBA Chartered Architect, with over 20 years’ experience specialising in Education and Sustainable Design. He will join Founders/Practice Directors’, Toby Coombes and John Everitt as part of the leadership team, driving and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Previously Director for Education and Commercial Architecture at Gloucester-based, Quattro Design Architects, Mike has also been a technical advisor to the Department for Education for the last 10 years and has experience ranging from Early Years, Primary, Secondary, Academy, Special Educational Needs, Further and Higher Education.

One of Gloucestershire’s leading RIBA Chartered Architectural Practices, the appointment will further complement the practice’ existing team, with over 70 years post RIBA professional qualifications experience and strength within the Education sector.

The practice already has a strong heritage in the sector with projects for National Star, Accxel Construction School and Cheltenham College. Mike brings experience working for clients including Cheltenham Ladies College, QEH School (Bristol), Pate’s Grammar School, Worcester 6th Form College and SGS College,
