Successful Women in Business 2024 – Caroline Fillery, Support Connect

Caroline Fillery, Co-Founder and Director

Caroline is a Co-Founder of Support Connect alongside fellow co-founders Matthew Heathman and Jason French. Caroline brought along her experience of co-founding WSDAC Limited in 2013 with Matthew Heathman, a nationwide provider of Student Disability Assessment Centres for university students who have been approved for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSAs). Caroline drew on her own neurodiverse personal experiences and passion to set out to create a more positive and supportive learning environment for learners with disabilities/neurodiversities and long-term medical conditions, where she led and developed the company from its launch to successfully winning a number of awards consecutively since 2020 for the quality of their work.

Support Connect Limited was founded to extend the kind of assessment facility available to university students under the DSA grant and to connect people from school age all the way through the working population to empower learners to access support to maximise their potential throughout their studies and beyond. Caroline also joined the Association of Apprentices in 2022 as one of its founding partners as Support Connect and also sits on its Advisory Panel.
