Less than two weeks remain to enter Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards as celebrity host confirmed

Media executive, entrepreneur and performer, Cally Beaton has been confirmed as the host for this year’s Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards.

At the start of her career, Cally headed an independent television production company that was bought by ITV but left to start a creative consultancy and production company as well as joining US studio giant ViacomCBS as Senior Vice President of International Sales.

Alongside the announcement of Cally Beaton as host, there is now less than two weeks left to enter the 2022 Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards.

Businesses, current and former apprentices, training providers and schools are being encouraged to enter the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards before the deadline on Friday 15 July.

The 2022 Worcestershire Apprenticeships Awards will celebrate the most successful apprentices, employers, schools, and training providers across 11 categories over the last year.

The 2022 award categories are:

Apprentice Awards

  • Intermediate Level Apprentice of the Year – sponsored by Yamazaki Mazak UK Ltd
  • Advanced Level Apprentice of the Year – sponsored by University of Worcester
  • Higher Level Apprentice of the Year – sponsored by Worcester Bosch

Employer Awards

  • Small Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (< 50 employees) – sponsored by The Development Manager
  • Medium Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (50 – 249 employees) – sponsored by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce
  • Large Apprenticeship Employer of the Year (> 250 employees) – sponsored by Faun Zoeller (UK) Limited

Support Awards

  • School of the Year – sponsored by Worcestershire Children’s First
  • Training Provider of the Year – sponsored by Sanctuary
  • Apprentice Champion of the Year – sponsored by West Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network

Cally Beaton, Media Business Leader, Coach & Performer and host of this year’s apprenticeship awards said:

The popular celebration event will culminate in the two illustrious overall awards of ‘Worcestershire Apprenticeship Employer of the Year’ sponsored by Heart of Worcestershire College, and ‘Worcestershire Apprentice of the Year’ sponsored by Platform Housing Group.
