Suntory Beverage and Food GB&I announce hire of new Supply Chain Director

Andy Hadley joins the Executive Committee at SBF GB&I

Gloucestershire, 10th May 2021 – Suntory Beverage and Food Great Britain & Ireland (SBF GB&I), the UK’s third largest soft drinks manufacturer, has appointed Andy Hadley to lead its supply chain operations across Great Britain and Ireland.

Andy will oversee the production and supply of over 200 different drinks that belong to some of the UK’s best-loved brands: Lucozade and Ribena.

Other responsibilities include overseeing an export business to more than 20 countries, improving efficiencies at the company’s best-in-class manufacturing site in Gloucestershire and ensuring a sustainable future for the entire supply chain, all while delivering for its customers.

Andy joins SBF GB&I from Molson Coors where he held senior roles leading end to end Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence and Procurement. He brings with him extensive experience of strategic planning, customer service, digital transformation programmes and integrated business planning.

As Supply Chain Director and member of the SBF GB&I Executive Committee, Andy will drive the company’s Growing for Good vision, working with its teams to get ahead of customers’ changing demands and supporting the company’s ambitious sustainability goals.

Andy comments: “It’s a privilege to be leading the SBF GB&I supply chain team at what’s a really exciting time for the business.

“I’m looking forward to working with such iconic brands and delivering real value for our customers as the country begins to reopen, bringing with it lots of new drinking occasions and opportunities to grow for good.”

Toby McKeever, Interim Chief Operating Officer at SBF GB&I, adds: “Andy brings with him years of leadership experience and a true Yatte Minahare spirit that will be vital in helping us to deliver our business strategy and overall Growing for Good vision.

“Despite the disruption of Covid-19 we’ve maintained phenomenal customer service scores over the last 18 months and that’s testament to the agility and resilience of our supply chain team. We believe Andy is the best person to build on this fantastic base as we emerge from the pandemic stronger than ever before.”

Andy will begin his role on the 10th of May 2021 and will be based at SBF GB&I’s Stockley Park office in Uxbridge and will split his time between the London headquarters and Gloucestershire manufacturing site.

Andy replaces Chris Kane, who, after 15 years with the Suntory group including three and a half years at SBF GB&I, has decided to return to his native New Zealand.
