Randall & Payne Appoint Youngest Partner in the Firm’s 143 Year History

Randall & Payne LLP is delighted to welcome Ryan Moore to the Partnership with effect from 1st May 2022, underpinning the firm’s commitment to developing and growing the team in line with its strategic ambitions. At 30 years of age Ryan is the youngest employee to have made partner in Randall & Payne’s 143 history.

Ryan heads up the Audit and Assurance team and works closely with executives in organisations across a number of sectors, including Charity Boards and Academies. Having initially trained for his Chartered Accountancy qualification and gained his experience in audit at one of the Big 4, Ryan joined Randall & Payne as the firms’ Responsible Individual in October 2020 and draws on his experiences to help clients create value and develop their business ambitions.

Since joining, Ryan has continued to develop the client base and has also introduced technology and data analytics into the work that the audit team performs. Ryan has a continued interest in audit regulation and is currently a member of the Disciplinary and Regulatory Committee for the ACCA.

Commenting on his appointment, Ryan said:

“As the audit market continues to change, we have seen an increased number of commercial opportunities for growth in the South West. I am excited to be joining the Partnership in a firm which is committed to investing in its people. It’s a great time to be working in audit and I am very lucky to be working with such a fantastic team on a day-to-day basis.”

Managing Partner, Tim Watkins added:

“Ryan joined the firm in October 2020 and very quickly established a rapport with the rest of the team and our clients. His audit experience and ability has helped secure and grow our audit department and I am delighted to welcome Ryan as a partner. Ryan shares the drive and vision of the whole firm and is part of a youthful and progressive leadership team that will take the firm into the future with confidence.”

Ryan has introduced a new staff initiative called ‘Do Something New in 2022’ encouraging staff to learn a new skill, try a new experience or challenge their fears. He himself has a fear of heights and has talked about taking on a bungee jump for the initiative. Others have expressed an interest in a range of activities including paddle boarding, learning to play tennis, lawn bowls, taking a sign language course, piano lessons – and even learning to juggle!
