Established in 1983, by brothers Don and Geof Robins, Printwaste originated as a waste paper collection service for local printers. In the early 1990s, as public attitude became increasingly eco-conscious, the brothers decided to majorly expand their recycling service – beginning the business’ transformation into what it is today. During Printwaste’s evolution, the need for destruction of confidential data material also increased, reinforced by the 1998 Data Protection Act. Achieving ISO 9001 accreditation in 2002, the business consequently became Printwaste Recycling & Shredding.
Today, Printwaste is still led by Don and Geof, supported by a highly trained workforce, including their sons and daughters. Their customers range from large PLCs to SMEs, and they continue to successfully grow their business, while maintaining high levels of customer service and environmentally-friendly practice. With 30 years’ experience in the industry, the company can, without a doubt, help you find a green solution for your business.
