Wellbeing
Barnwood have been partners with Mates in Mind since the summer of 2018.
A UK charity, Mates in Mind help Barnwood in raising awareness, addressing the stigma of poor mental health and promoting positive mental wellbeing across construction workplaces. Mates in Mind also support our supply chain through a confidential 24/7 assistance line.
Barnwood have been a member of Building Mental Health since early 2019. By signing the Building Mental Health charter Barnwood have pledged our commitment towards improving mental health in our industry
Occupational Health and Wellbeing checks – Barnwood have a continuous occupational Health and wellbeing surveillance programme open to all our employees whether site or office based and is tailored to the role.
Environment & Sustainability
Barnwood are experienced in achieving buildings that meet BREEAM Accreditation and Code of Sustainable Homes ratings.
Barnwood are certified to ISO 14001:2015 demonstrating our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our activities.
We have also teamed up with Ecovadis one of the most trusted business sustainability ratings schemes. EcoVadis allows us to collaborate on sustainability with our clients, be visible on a universal scorecard and helps benchmark us within the industry. Most importantly it will help Barnwood continually improve our carbon reduction, sustainability and CSR performance.
