How Do You Like Your Eggs in the Morning?

ISO Quality Services (ISO QSL) like theirs to feel valued and appreciated which is why their Good Egg Awards returned for its fifth year.

The ISO Providers based in Worcester, first launched the Good Egg Awards back in 2018 to encourage organisations to nominate their egg-ceptional employees for a Good Egg Award.  In doing so, their nominee would be in for a chance of winning a hamper of chocolate and an easter egg would be donated to charity on their behalf.

The awards this year received an egg-cellent response, receiving over 100 nominations, a 70% increase on last year.  For each nomination received, ISO QSL donated an easter egg to West Mercia Women’s Aid (WMWA) to be distributed to their service users.

WMWA’s mission is to reduce the incidence and impact of domestic abuse and violence against women and girls in West Mercia by providing support, protection and prevention services that empower those affected by violence and abuse to rebuild their lives and those of their children.

HR Director, Debbie Farr comments: “1 in 4 women in the UK experience domestic abuse at some point in their lives, that could be 5 of our team.  Having an all-female office, we’ve been looking at ways to raise awareness of the violence against women and girls including attending November’s Reclaim the Night Walk, organising ‘Keeping Women Safe’ sessions and awareness sessions for our Leadership Team on recognising the signs of domestic abuse.  WMWA are vital in providing support and are essential in helping those affected to get back on their feet”.

West Mercia Women’s Aid comments: “Our women and children in our refuges – and those that we support in the community – are all thrilled to be receiving these fantastic eggs. You can never have too much chocolate!  But most of all, we are really touched by ISO QSL’s thoughtfulness – it means a great deal for those sheltering from abuse to know that there are people in the local community who are thinking of them and wanting to show that they care.  Domestic abuse can leave you isolated and alone – invisible even. ISO QSL are saying – ‘we see you.  We hear you. You matter.’  Thank you so much for this amazing donation”.

Debbie adds: “We’d also like to say congratulations to our Good Egg winners: Green Egg: Jessica Grubb from SPE Limited, Safety Egg: Alan Dance from CBW Resources LTD t/a Amco, Wellbeing Egg: Marie Jenkins from Advance Your Wellbeing, Supporting Egg: Ash Williams from Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, and Passion Egg: Lisa Mistry from The Method who was also crowned our ‘Winner of the Winners’”.
