Happy birthday! Public Hearts Celebrates 4th Birthday on 19 December

To celebrate and support opening sharing our information, we will publish all our defib locations next week

What a year!!

Public Hearts Celebrates 4th Birthday on 19 December

Not for profit award winning Public Hearts Defibrillator Campaign is celebrating its 4th birthday.

To celebrate and support opening sharing our information, we will publish all our defib locations.

All of them are on The Circuit and many have already ported onto DefibFinder, too.

Thanks to the continued support and commitment of our key partners, 2023 plans are firming up with even more defibrillators earmarked for the community.

Public Hearts Defibrillator Campaign mission is clear:

To raise awareness and numbers of public access defibrillators to support someone in the event of a cardiac arrest.

Prompt access to and safe use of these automated and easy to use devices supports improved out of hospital cardiac arrest survival rates and empowers us to have the confidence to act in a medical emergency. For this reason, the more defibs we can place in the community, the better. Anyone can use one, and anyone might need one.

To find out more, get involved and donate visit our Public Hearts Defib Hub

This includes links to The Circuit to register your defib on the National UK NHS Ambulance Service Network. This in turn pulls defib information through to the public facing information version.

Used for non-emergencies, simply add your postcode anywhere in the UK and the 10 nearest defibs to you will appear on a map.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and backed this life changing and lifesaving campaign throughout 2022 and we all look forward to seeing you in 2023.
