Exam results online open days for Tech and Digital Apprenticeships

West Midlands-based Apprenticeship and Training Provider The Development Manager (TDM) is inviting students receiving their A Level and GCSE exam results this month to attend online Open Days to find out more about Apprenticeships, opportunities in the local Tech and Digital Sector and support available to them to start their careers in this attractive sector.

TDM’s Open Days will take place on Monday 22nd August after A Level results and Tuesday 30th August after GCSE results and the Bank Holiday, online via Zoom at 10am and 7pm. Local employers and current apprentices will be taking part to share their thoughts on Apprenticeship recruitment opportunities, what it is like to be an apprentice, advantages over other educational and employment routes and what employers are looking for in Apprentices, alongside other important Information, Advice and Guidance.

Tech and Digital is a significant growth sector across the region with substantial opportunities for career development, high demand for new employees, future proofed skills development and very attractive salaries. TDM works with a wide range of employers across the region, keen to recruit new Apprentices into their workforce.

TDM’s programmes enable Apprentices to start and then embed their Tech and Digital Careers in areas such as Coding, Digital Marketing, Data, IT infrastructure and networks, Cyber Security and Digital Support.

Apprenticeships are salaried jobs with a substantial training plan to learn a nationally recognised trade; they are open to people over the age of 16 and Apprentices enjoy hands-on, practical, on-the-job learning, working with real customers on genuine projects and services, with the support of Training Providers. Apprenticeships are funded by the UK Government via the Apprenticeship Levy so there are no fees for learners.

TDM is also able to offer Skills Bootcamps to 18 year old School Leavers in the 3 Counties area to help them get ready for their Apprenticeship through employability skills development, coaching and targeted Tech and Digital Training.

Over 90% of TDM’s Apprentices stay with their employers after completion of their Apprenticeship and the pass rate for Apprentices is currently 100%. TDM’s Quality of Education, Apprenticeships and Adult Learning have been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and the organisation has an overall Good rating.
