Leaders Forum – Boardroom Gloucestershire
- Wednesday 20/02/2019
- 9:30am - 11:30am
NB: This event will follow the Bank of England Briefing (to be held at the Business School) starting promptly at 9:30am to finish at 11:30am.
Dr David Dawson, from the School of Business & Technology School is a regular contributor to our Leader Boardrooms. In this session we will look at how we create and sustain flexible organisations without descending into chaos and burning out our staff. What skills do we need and how do we ‘train’ staff for this way of working?
David concentrates on helping managers reach their potential. That’s about helping them manage their people so that they meet their performance and personal objectives. Strong HRM and Business Ethics are key to these objectives and he concentrates on adding value to business in these areas. He promotes these ideas when speaking on radio, working in organisations, and supporting students. David completed his PhD in 2018 on the Structure and Language of Contemporary Virtues in Business, which we have discussed at previous Boardrooms.
Our Boardroom sessions provide time out of the business to work on the business, they are an ideal opportunity to take time out and discuss current topics affecting your business; gain insights into what others are doing and share your experiences and expertise to help other business leaders.
