This is part of a series of quarterly “Off the Record” economic briefing conducted by the bank and will cover the banks’ latest Inflation report published in August 2019 with the very latest on the outlook for growth and prospects for the economy. Over lunch Malindi Myers, Deputy Agent, South West will provide insights on growth prospects; global trends; inflations; and brexit scenarios.
Malindi became an Agent for the South West area in April 2018. Before she joined the Bank of England, Malandi worked for HM Treasury; the Office for National Statistics; the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the European Commission. She worked mainly on economic policy formulation and appraisal, and providing the evidence to underpin economic policy.
