Counting down to when we can welcome visitors back into our homes and re-open our day care hubs

We are delighted that on Monday 8th March we will be welcoming visitors back into all five of our homes and reopening our two day care hubs.

“We know how much this will mean to all those we care for and their families and friends. It has been so longed for and it is a really significant moment for us all” said Suzanne Booker, Director of Care.

Visits to the five care homes will restart under carefully controlled conditions. Initially each resident will be able to have one designated visitor who will need to take a lateral flow test and wear PPE. The visitor will then, not only be able to see their loved one, but also hold their hand, a moment which will be incredibly special to many. More details can be found on our ‘Visiting during Covid’ page.

The reopening of our two day care hubs, the Secret Garden Hub in Cheltenham and Uplands in Stroud, will be a key moment for many of their guests and their families. The hubs are a beacon of hope in their local communities, giving companionship and range of stimulating activities for guests alongside support and respite for their families. “We know how important our hubs are for combatting the loneliness and isolation in our communities which has been exacerbated during the pandemic and we look forward to reopening safely on 8th March.” said Suzanne.
