At our quarterly Cheese Club at The Hotel Du Vin we celebrated and acknowledged the brave souls that slept out in January in support of homeless and vulnerable people in the region. To date we have raised £60,000 for this worthwhile cause. C2S were joined by many members to sleep rough at Brickhampton Golf Course, Hooray Recruitment, BPE solicitors, McLoughlin Planning, Hazlewoods, Brace Creative, Aston Lark, Premiere Kitchens, i2i Recruitment, Nimble, Gloucestershire Young Carers, St Edwards School, Cosgrove and Drew, and Elmrep sponsored the driving range to help raise money.
At Cheese Club we acknowledged the people and organisations that supported this great initiative and we heard the latest stats from Cordell Ray MBE, on the latest devasting figures on the year ahead for people living on the poverty line and caught up in the cost-of-living crisis.
