Leading national property consultancy Bruton Knowles has been appointed to manage two state-of-the-art business centres in Gloucestershire owned by property development and investment company AC Lloyd.
The Space Business Centres in Cheltenham and Gloucester, comprising a range of small industrial units to a very high modern specification suitable for a mixture of tenants, were acquired by the Warwick-based business late last year in a £6.475m deal.
The site in Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham, features four separate buildings with a total of 56 units ranging in size from 275 sq ft to 774 sq ft and is home to a variety of tenants from health and fitness to building and construction services.
The centre in Olympus Park in Quedgeley, Gloucester, has five separate terraces containing 53 units from 357 sq ft to 721 sq ft and has attracted general retailers, engineers, electrics and design, and lifestyle and leisure providers.
Head of Commercial Property and Partner at Bruton Knowles, Dorian Wragg, who is based at the consultancy’s Gloucester office, said: “This new instruction is a very exciting opportunity for us – we’re pleased to have been appointed to manage such an active pair of properties for AC Lloyd as they make their first investment venture into the Gloucestershire market.
“Both business parks are ideally placed and configured to attract SMEs, boasting town centre post codes and manageable spaces which are the perfect size for a range of purposes, from warehousing to workshops and office space. The flexible licence terms mean freedom of choice for small and medium sized businesses to manage their immediate and medium term business plans and cash flow with confidence – making the sites very attractive options for new and expanding businesses.”
Tony Hargreave, Property Asset Manager at AC Lloyd, said: “The centres are ideal locations for entrepreneurs and SMEs to take the next step in their business plan and units of this size are very much in demand.
“We are impressed with Bruton Knowles’ knowledge of the market in Gloucestershire and it is important we have a high-level of expertise managing these centres on our behalf which their staff will provide.”
