Bob Holt OBE Does it Again for Public Hearts Cheltenham Defibrillator Campaign

Bob’s leading the way with another act of kindness and generosity in support of Public Hearts Cheltenham Defibrillator Campaign.

In December Bob’s donated defibrillator was installed at CCP 340 High Street and was the first public access defibrillator to be sited along the High Street to benefit both local and wider communities.

Further to his offer to support up to 5 more defibrillators for the campaign through co-funding, Gloucester City Mission is about to receive its defibrillator to support their essential services providing shelter hot food drinks close and friendship to the wider community and especially those who find themselves homeless or marginalised

Kevin Howie, General Manager shares “Gloucester City Mission are delighted to be able to install a defibrillator in our new building, Renew.

The building houses the city’s Winter Shelter as well as being an education and training centre to help clients become more confident and able, by offering a range of life skills and basic skills training courses. The ultimate goal is to transform lives and offer people hope so that they can become more independent and find employment. We offer outreach support and a range of direct support to those people who are homeless or vulnerable in and around Gloucester.

Thank you to Bob Holt and Tidal Training for supporting us with this defibrillator. To find out more about our work please visit www.gloscitymission.org.uk or follow us on Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram
