Bamboo Technology Group Ltd (Bamboo) announces the strategic acquisition of TechTeam Limited, a provider of IT Managed Service, Cloud and Connectivity, expanding its group of businesses, all providing the essential infrastructure for companies to build their digital future, transform their IT and telecommunications and protect their most important asset, information.
TechTeam is a customer focused technology business with expertise in the small to mid-market. Established in 2006 and based in Worcestershire, the team is led by Founder and CEO, James Green. An exceptional attention to service and support is central to the TechTeam proposition, aligning closely with Bamboo’s mission to improve business futures and people’s lives by realising the full potential of ICT.
Since the acquisition of Tech Op Solutions in 2019, and under the leadership of CEO, Lorrin White, Bamboo has successfully transitioned from its routes in telecoms service provision to become a renowned ICT managed services provider in the Southwest cyber and technology communities. In addition, the group’s niche software development capabilities have seen Bamboo awarded inclusion in the Crown Commercial Service’s Technology Services 3 Framework.
This latest acquisition is key to Bamboo’s growth strategy and in enabling them to expand their expertise, customer base and regional MSP footprint, whilst supporting their focus on education and employment in the sector (in conjunction with both the West of England Institute of Technology and The Cyber Resilience Centre for the Southwest).
